Finding Strength in Community

I came to HopeWorks because I needed help finding a job, gaining stability, and meeting some of my basic needs. At the time, I knew I needed a change and was ready to take steps toward building a better future.

Since joining the program, I’ve been working toward several important goals. I am focused on finding permanent full-time employment and stable housing. I’m also saving money so I can eventually buy my own vehicle and take care of things like clothes and other necessities.

Through this process, I’ve been gaining valuable work experience and learning how to work well with others. One of the things I appreciate most about HopeWorks is the sense of community. It feels like a family—people encourage each other, work hard together, and support one another.

Outside of work, I enjoy simple things like walking, going out to eat, watching movies, and spending time outdoors. These moments remind me to stay balanced and keep moving forward.

I take pride in working hard, being respectful, and doing things the right way. I’m grateful for the opportunity to be here, and I’m focused on continuing to grow and improve.
