When I came to HopeWorks, I was ready for a real change. My past included jail, homelessness, and losing custody of my children. I had made choices that left me broken and without stability. I knew I needed more than good intentions—I needed structure, accountability, and an opportunity to work again.

HopeWorks gave me that opportunity.

Through daily responsibilities, consistent schedules, and hands-on job experience, I am rebuilding my work ethic and confidence. Showing up every day, completing assignments, and working as part of a team has reminded me that I am capable. I’m not just earning income—I’m rebuilding dignity.

The support and guidance I receive here push me to grow. I am learning time management, responsibility, and how to overcome barriers that once felt impossible. For the first time in years, I feel prepared for long-term stability.

Because of HopeWorks, I am saving money and working toward providing a home for my children. Each paycheck represents more than income—it represents restoration.

The Mission’s New Life Program helped lay the spiritual foundation for my healing, but HopeWorks is helping me build a future. What once felt like rock bottom has become a launching point for independence, purpose, and hope.
