Building a Future for My Family Through HopeWorks

Before joining HopeWorks, I was searching for a job so I could help my mom pay rent while she manages chronic health issues. I applied again and again—sometimes sending out an application every week—but I kept getting turned down because I didn’t have work experience. It was discouraging and made me feel overlooked.

HopeWorks became my first real opportunity.

Through this program, I’m gaining valuable experience that will help me secure a more permanent job. My goal goes beyond employment—I want to help my disabled parents find stable housing and feel secure. HopeWorks is helping me take meaningful steps toward that future.

This program is especially important for people who have never had a job or feel like no one will hire them. It provides not only work experience, but support and guidance.
